Welcome! The Pursuit of the Hammock was created to share my quest of rest and relaxation.

My name is Marcella and I live in Central Florida with my husband Erik and pet dog Daisy.

This website’s Journal is a mental health journey to take it easy and explore what is around to become more relaxed, content, happy, and at peace. The posts are a process to slow the pace and become more pacific.

I’ll be sharing foods that I relish, crazy off the wall sentiments, and nugatory photos that I take with my new camera.

It’s all about touching the élan vital to achieve contentment, happiness, and love.
