Something to Think About

Same Stuff Different Day

Do we have to do the same thing every day, day after day?  We have to wake up, get washed and brush the teeth, go work, have lunch, come home, have dinner, watch a little TV or read a few pages, then go to bed and sleep.  Then do it all over again - wake up, get washed and brush the teeth, go to work.........

How do you make this monotonous routine go away and still keep happiness in your family, your house, your job, and yourself?

Positive...Think positive...Think goals...Think a delicious meal at a fancy restaurant or a drink of Pina Colada on the beach ...Think Love...Think loved ones...Think Flowers...Think of Favorite Things

How can you make this day different?

How can you make someone else’s day better?

The hard-working bee with some friends.

Notice and pay attention...

  • Pay attention to the clouds today -What kind are they?

  • To the flowers that are beautifully bloomed - Are they there for the bees to collect honey or to make you smile?

  • To the trees and the colorful leaves of fall - Are they for a photographer to capture on film or for you to stop and admire?

  • To the child talking, growing, learning, and playing - does he/she know that he/she is loved, is happy, and is content?

  • To the wonderful messy house that is the home of a beautiful loving family - Does it provide shelter from the wind, rain, and cold or does it provide happiness, love, and peace?

  • To the hugs and kisses given and received - Are they routine and expected or are they truly warm and endear?

  • To your legs and feet - whether working or not - Are they something you need to buy clothing and shoes for or do they make you feel like going to wonderful places and take you there?

  • To that annoying fly or bug - Is it there just to annoy you or to share its world it lives in with just you?

This the original picture taken of the bee. I only saw the bee on the flower.

Reviewed the photo later, zoomed in, and discovered the bee’s friends. What a happy surprise! You never know until you take a closer look. Like seeing the tree and missing the forest. Yep…Hah….What do you know!
