A Butterfly Haven
Hello! Beautiful Butterfly!
On my afternoon walk along the trails, I met some new butterfly friends. Let me introduce you to them.
The butterflies are always fluttering around this myrtle tree. They seem to like this tree.

I love butterflies! I thought the viceroy butterflies were monarch butterflies at first when I took the picture. I took a closer look at the photos later and I noticed the black line on the wings which the monarch don’t have. I have lots of willow trees along one of my trails and viceroys are known to like willow trees. Pay attention to the details of nature and you’ll always learn something! “Hah! What do you know?” I always find myself saying.
