A Walk on the Beach
One afternoon at Ormond Beach.
A walk on the beach always brings me a sense of calmness and peace.
The warmth of the sun, the grit of the sand under the feet, and the sound of the gentle splashing of the waves always brings you closer and more aware of your surroundings. You forget yourself and become part of nature. All the details of problems, obstacles, struggles, disappointments, and conflicts go away. Walking on the beach helps create a new clear mind to think of things that really do matter.
You look out into the sea and in your mind’s eye, what do you see?
There is so much room out there, out in the sea that we forget ourselves and become part of the beach and sea. The natural beauty of something of infinite magnitude brings us to our sense of awareness and how important life is. Life should always be lived in peace, happiness, and love.
Being mindful of your surroundings … is to become involved with a sense of awareness of what is around you and around others.
It can bring optimism and contentment.
It can bring a calmness in yourself.
