Dog Treats - Dog Biscuits - Dog Cookies
I’m sharing some recipes for doggie biscuits that my dogs love and yours will too!
This recipe “Peanut Butter Doggie Biscuits” is our dogs most favorite and mine too because it is so simple and easy to make.
Peanut Butter Doggie Biscuits
Ingredients:
2 cup whole wheat flour (or any type of flour - oat, rice, potato, etc.)
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup peanut butter (or regular)
1 1/4 cup hot water
Cookie cutters or a round cup to cut out biscuits
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a bowl, mix peanut butter and hot water. Then add the oats and the flour. Mix well.
2. Drop dough on lightly floured surface and knead. If the dough is still too sticky to roll, then sprinkle more of the type of flour you are using.
3. Roll out dough and use a cookie cutter or the rim of a cup and cut into desired shapes. Bake on greased baking sheet for 20-30 minutes. Store in airtight container.
This recipe is so easy to make and the ingredients are just simple staples found in the pantry and are always on hand. My dogs prefer these than those store bought milk-bones.

Additional tips for doggie treats that dogs love:
Brush the baked cookies with a few teaspoons of fish sauce. And then return the cookies in the hot oven with it turned off and let the cookies sit in the oven for about an hour. They'll be brown, stinky, and extra crunchy.
Add sardines for really, really stinky dog biscuits.
Add sweet potato pulp instead of pumpkin.
You can grind the oats in a food processor for a few minutes for the desired consistency of whole wheat flour.
